EnglishUSA is excited to kick off its 2020-21 membership year by expanding its membership categories.
EnglishUSA membership is now open to pathway programs in the U.S.A.-programs that combine English language and academic preparation with credit-bearing university classes. In addition, we are launching a new category of engagement, Friends of EnglishUSA, to support individuals, independent consultants, freelancers, and independent contractors in the English language program industry. Current member programs include university, college, and community-college governed programs as well as private independent single and multi-site programs.
"These changes will expand outreach and support for all types of English language programs and individuals working in the field," said Cheryl Delk-Le Good, Executive Director of EnglishUSA. "We hope to continue raising awareness of the importance of the English language program industry for attracting international students to United States, and we want to expand networking opportunities, especially given the difficult market conditions we are experiencing."
IEP and pathway program memberships run from July 1 to June 30, 2021. Individuals can apply to be Friends of EnglishUSA at any time throughout the year for a 1-year membership. EnglishUSA is offering a 50% discount (through 10/1/2020) on new eligible Friends of EnglishUSA.
